The English defender Lloyd Kelly confirmed his happiness at being with Juventus, emphasizing his complete focus on the Italian club, despite reports linking him to a return to the English Premier League via Crystal Palace.

Kelly spoke during a press conference held in the United States, on the eve of Juventus's match against Al Ain from the UAE in the opening of the team's journey in the FIFA Club World Cup, stating: "We are ready for the World Cup, personally, I feel good in Italy and with Juventus."

He added: "I am 100% focused with the Bianconeri, and I want to stay at this great club for a long time, getting to know a new culture and a playing style different from the English league; the Italian league has a great history with defenders, it’s a wonderful experience."

Kelly also expressed his ambition to return to the England national team, saying: "I will do my best to join the national team; the national team is always on my mind."

Kelly joined Juventus on loan from Newcastle United with an obligation to buy in January 2025, and he completed his permanent transfer at the beginning of this month, having participated in 15 matches in the Juventus jersey during the first six months, including 12 matches in the Italian league.
