A Spanish media report stated that Barcelona's director, Deco, traveled this evening, accompanied by several members of the sports committee, to the city of Bilbao, to meet with representatives of Nico Williams.

According to the Catalan newspaper "Sport", Deco was at the airport today to travel to Bilbao with members of the sports committee, regarding the deal for Nico Williams.

This visit comes amid the club's desire to sign Nico Williams, who is the main target of Joan Laporta, the club's president, to strengthen and support the team's attack this summer.

Nico Williams has a release clause in his contract worth 58 million euros, while some reports indicated that Bilbao has opened negotiations for the player.

The Spanish star is attracting interest from several clubs, most notably Arsenal and Bayern Munich.
