In a press interview with the French newspaper "Le Parisien", coach Laurent Blanc, the head coach of the first football team of Al-Ittihad Club, expressed his optimism about his future with the club during the upcoming sports season 2025-2026, confirming his complete confidence in continuing in his position.

Blanc emphasized that the upcoming season will bring greater challenges, especially as the team enters the competition as the champion, which puts them under the scrutiny of competitors who will try to stop their momentum and achievements.

The French coach stated: "We are currently at the top, and everyone is trying to bring us down. This is the new challenge we face, and we must be prepared for it with all our strength and focus."

Blanc confirmed in his statements his full commitment to the plan of developing the team's collective performance and working to achieve more titles during the new season, despite his awareness of the difficulty of the task compared to the past.

In another context, journalist Saleh Omar Al-Ahmad revealed that Al-Ittihad Club has officially reached an agreement with Spanish coach Ivan Carrasco to lead the under-21 team in the elite league starting from the next season.

Reports indicated that the agreement was coordinated directly between Laurent Blanc and the Spanish sports director Ramon Planes, in a step aimed at strengthening the youth base of Al-Ittihad and preparing a future generation to support the first team.

Coach Carrasco, who recently supervised the Jeddah Club team, has closely followed the development of the youth teams at Al-Ittihad, and had previously attended several matches of the under-18 team last season.

The management of Al-Ittihad relies on Carrasco to prepare a select group of young players to be the backbone of the future, amidst great ambitions looking forward to local and continental championships in the coming years.
