It seems that a disagreement has arisen within FC Barcelona regarding the identity of the new winger the club is looking to sign during the summer transfer window, to strengthen coach Hans Flick's squad for the upcoming season.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Sport", sporting director Deco still prefers to sign Colombian Luis Diaz, a Liverpool player, as the first option to bolster the right attacking flank.

In contrast, club president Joan Laporta has begun to lean towards another option, which is to sign Spanish winger Nico Williams, a player from Athletic Bilbao, especially after the club received signals from the player's agent confirming his desire to move to Barcelona.

Although both deals are not easy from a negotiation standpoint, Nico Williams enjoys support from within the Barcelona dressing room, especially from young star Lamine Yamal, who has a strong relationship with him.
