Reports have confirmed that Turkish defender Merih Demiral, of Al Ahli Saudi, has rejected two offers from Atletico Madrid in Spain and Fenerbahçe in Turkey, preferring to continue with his team for the upcoming season.
According to sources, Demiral received official offers from Atletico Madrid and Fenerbahçe to join them during the current summer transfer window, but he chose to remain with Al Ahli.
The sources confirmed that the Turkish defender feels very comfortable within Al Ahli, especially after winning the AFC Champions League title in the past season.
Demiral joined Al Ahli two years ago from Atalanta in Italy and has succeeded in establishing himself as one of the key pillars in the team's formation.
