A British newspaper report stated that Welsh star Gareth Bale is planning to buy one of the English Premier League clubs, driven by his desire to invest in the world of football.

The British newspaper "Telegraph" mentioned that Gareth Bale is preparing to acquire a part of the shares of Plymouth Argyle, with the assistance of an American company.

According to the report, Bale and an investment firm in America are preparing to make an offer to acquire the club, which recently relegated from the "Championship" to the lower division.

The group is currently in serious negotiations with Simon Hallett, the current owner of the club, who is looking to sell his stake, especially after previous negotiations with American investors failed last month.

It is worth noting that the former Real Madrid and Tottenham star retired from football in January 2023, following his participation with the Wales national team in the 2022 World Cup.
