Al-Nasr Announces Termination of Contract with Al-Jumaan, Who Responds
Tuesday 17-06-2025
In a surprising move, Al-Nasr Club of Saudi Arabia announced on Monday evening, June 16, 2025, the termination of Majid Al-Jumaan's contract, who held the position of CEO of Al-Nasr Club, through an official statement issued by the club.

The statement clarified that the Board of Directors decided to suspend Al-Jumaan's powers since May 8, following several reports related to behaviors and practices that raised suspicion, prompting an internal investigation by the club's relevant authorities.

The statement confirmed that Al-Jumaan committed a clear contractual violation during the investigation period, which involved posting a tweet on his account on the platform "X", containing direct insults to the company and harming its reputation at a highly sensitive time.

The club pointed out that Al-Jumaan had not presented, since assuming his duties in January 2025, any operational or strategic plan that aligns with the needs of the phase or meets the management's aspirations for the club's development.

In this context, the Al-Nasr Board of Directors emphasized that it is currently conducting a comprehensive review of the team's performance in the past sports season, including a technical evaluation of several files related to the first team.

Al-Jumaan commented on the decision in a notable manner, stating: "Today, my services were terminated by Al-Nasr Club in a way I consider unprofessional and unacceptable, and I will keep the reasons undisclosed," adding in a direct message to the fans: "Al-Nasr fans... may God help you."
