Milan Aims to Conclude Two Deals at Once
Sunday 15-06-2025
The Italian club Milan continues its movements in the summer transfer market, as it seeks to finalize two new deals to strengthen its squad for the upcoming season, after nearing an official contract with Croatian star Luka Modric, who is only waiting to pass the medical examination to complete the deal.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano mentioned that Milan has a strong desire to sign Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka, the star of Bayer Leverkusen.

Milan is preparing to make an official offer to Leverkusen's management next week, in order to reach an agreement regarding the acquisition of the player, who joined Leverkusen in the summer of 2023 on a contract that extends until June 2028, but is open to taking on a new experience in the near future.

Although Xhaka's salary is not a barrier for the Rossoneri management, negotiations with Leverkusen may be complicated due to the German club's insistence on keeping the player, which may lead Milan to propose a swap deal involving German defender Malick Thiaw.

In a related context, Romano revealed that Milan has made an official offer to acquire the young Bosnian defender Kevin Pasalic, who is 18 years old, from the Swedish club Norrköping, which is also attracting interest from Roma, as the Rossoneri aims to finalize the deal within a week.
