The Turkish club Fenerbahçe has taken its first official steps to sign French star Moussa Diaby, winger of Saudi Al-Ittihad, as part of its plan to strengthen the front line in preparation for the upcoming season.

According to the Turkish newspaper "Fanatik", Fenerbahçe considers Diaby one of the top names proposed to occupy the winger position, as the club aims to reach an agreement with Al-Ittihad regarding the player's loan.

Sources from the newspaper confirm that Diaby is open to the idea of returning to Europe, which increases the likelihood of a successful deal if a satisfactory arrangement can be reached between the parties involved.

The Turkish club is closely monitoring the developments of the situation and hopes to attract Diaby as part of its ambitious project aimed at competing strongly for local and continental titles.

Diaby, who is 25 years old, joined Al-Ittihad in the summer of 2023 from Aston Villa for 60 million euros, after shining in both the German and English leagues.
