The Egyptian Al Ahly club announced through its official account on X platform that player Imam Ashour was transferred to the hospital after being injured in his team's match against Inter Miami in the opening of the Club World Cup.
The club stated: "Imam Ashour has been transferred to the hospital for reassurance after his injury."
Ashour suffered an injury in the 7th minute to his shoulder, and it was evident that the player was greatly affected by this injury, but he preferred to continue playing.
In the 13th minute, the player fell to the ground due to this injury and began to cry before being substituted immediately, with the new arrival Zizo coming on for his first appearance in the Al Ahly jersey.
