A Spanish media report stated that Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo may leave the Catalan club this summer, despite recently renewing his contract until 2031.
The Catalan newspaper "Sport" mentioned that Araujo's release clause will decrease from one billion euros to only 65 million euros on July 1.
The source added that Barcelona needs to sell players worth 50 million euros to balance its financial accounts, and attention within the club is turning towards Araujo.
