Swedish star Viktor Giocheris, a player for Sporting Lisbon, has rejected the idea of transferring to Manchester United during the summer transfer window.

According to the Portuguese newspaper "Record", those close to the player have informed Manchester United's management that the club is no longer among his options, confirming that Giocheris has completely dismissed the idea of joining the Red Devils.

This decision comes amid interest from other European clubs in the services of the Sporting Lisbon striker, following his remarkable performance this season.

Giocheris had agreed with his club last summer to allow him to leave this summer for 60 million euros plus 10 million in add-ons, before Sporting retracted this agreement this summer, which angered and displeased the player and his representatives.

It is worth noting that the Swedish striker has a release clause in his contract worth 100 million euros.
