A report from the "Al-Riyadh" newspaper revealed that player Abdulkarim Darcy, who recently transferred to Al-Hilal, will not accompany the team on their trip to the United States for the 2025 Club World Cup.

Darcy's absence from Al-Hilal's delegation is due to the club's failure to reach an agreement with Al-Ahly regarding the purchase of the remaining part of the player's contract, despite the official announcement of his signing earlier.

Al-Ahly's management refused to relinquish the remaining period of Darcy's contract, which prevented him from being officially registered in Al-Hilal's list for the global tournament.

Al-Hilal had previously announced the signing of Abdulkarim Darcy from Al-Ahly, with the player set to begin his journey with the blue team after the end of his contract in September.

Despite not participating in the Club World Cup, Darcy remains one of the standout signings that Al-Hilal is counting on to strengthen the midfield for the upcoming season.
