According to "The Objective" newspaper, Barcelona has reached a complete agreement with Garcia; however, the club still needs to secure the buyout clause amount, which must be paid in full at the headquarters of the Spanish league, given Espanyol's refusal to negotiate or split the amount.

The newspaper confirmed that Barcelona's management is considering several options to secure the required amount, including obtaining a bank loan.

Recently, the visit of Garcia's lawyer to Barcelona's headquarters raised expectations for the deal to be finalized soon, but the financial obstacle remains the last barrier.

Espanyol fans are awaiting the way the goalkeeper will say goodbye, especially since the club is distanced from any official participation in his farewell, considering that the decision to leave was made by the player, and Garcia is expected to send a farewell message through his digital platforms.
