Milan Targets Thiago Almada
Friday 13-06-2025
The Italian club AC Milan has placed Argentine playmaker Thiago Almada at the top of its priorities to bolster its squad for the 2025/2026 season, according to the website "TEAMtalk".

Milan's interest in Almada comes as the club seeks to rebuild the team after a disappointing 2024/2025 season, in which they only managed to win the Italian Super Cup, finished eighth in the league, exited the Champions League, and lost the Coppa Italia final to Bologna.

The Rossoneri are looking to return to strong competition under their new coach, Massimiliano Allegri, who recently resumed his managerial duties. According to reports, the club has gathered recent information about Thiago Almada, who recently concluded a 6-month loan period with French club Lyon.

The 24-year-old player is set to return to his original club Botafogo in Brazil, owned by businessman John Textor, who also manages Lyon. However, Almada prefers to stay in Europe to continue his professional career.
