Officially.. Manchester United Announces the Signing of Matheus Cunha
The English club Manchester United officially announced today, Thursday, that it has signed Brazilian striker Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The club stated: "Manchester United is pleased to confirm the completion of the transfer of Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton."
It added: "The 26-year-old international Brazilian striker has signed a contract until June 2030, with an option to extend for an additional year."
Matheus Cunha said: "It's hard to describe my feelings about joining Manchester United. Since I was a child in Brazil, I watched Premier League matches on television at my grandmother's house, and United was my favorite English team, and I dreamed of wearing the team's shirt."
He added: "I would like to thank my family and everyone who helped me achieve this dream."
He concluded: "I am eagerly looking forward to the start of the preseason to get to know my teammates and prepare for the upcoming season. My focus now is on working hard to be a valuable part of the team and contribute to bringing this club back to the top."
