Real Madrid announced the arrival of English defender Trent Alexander Arnold this morning at the club's clinic to undergo a medical examination in preparation for signing his contract with the royal club.
The club stated in its announcement: "The new Real Madrid player underwent tests at the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital."
It added: "Alexander Arnold went to the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital, where he underwent a medical examination before being presented as a new player at Real Madrid."
Arnold will sign a 6-year contract this afternoon with president Florentino Perez and will then appear before the media in the press room.
