The Spanish club Atletico Madrid is nearing an agreement to sign French left-back Theo Hernandez, a player from Italian club AC Milan, during the summer transfer window.

According to the website "Football Spain", Atletico Madrid has reached an agreement with Milan to acquire Theo for 23 million euros, in addition to other variables, to strengthen the left-back position ahead of the 2025 Club World Cup.

Milan had previously accepted an offer from Saudi club Al Hilal, but the French player rejected the move to the Roshan League, preferring to return to La Liga through Atletico Madrid.

It is worth noting that Theo, who is 27 years old, grew up in Atletico Madrid's academy before moving to Real Madrid in the summer of 2017, and then to Milan in 2019. Last season, he played 49 matches with Milan, scoring 5 goals and providing 6 assists.
