Journalist Mohammed Al-Qaoud revealed a new attempt by Al-Hilal to sign English striker Ivan Toney, a player for Al-Ahli, during the current exceptional transfer period.

Al-Qaoud explained that this step came after the failure of the deal for Nigerian star Victor Osimhen, prompting Al-Hilal to look for an alternative striker to support the team ahead of the Club World Cup.

According to the source, Al-Hilal submitted an official offer to sign Toney, in an attempt to strengthen its attack with a striker who has high experience and scoring ability.

However, the English player did not hesitate and immediately rejected the offer, preferring to remain with Al-Ahli, which recently won the AFC Champions League title.

In light of this rejection, Al-Hilal continues to search for alternative offensive solutions, while Toney focuses on his upcoming journey with Al-Ahli and its continental and domestic commitments.
