
Atletico Madrid Announces Signing of Goalkeeper Juan Musso
Atletico Madrid has officially announced the final signing of Argentine goalkeeper Juan Musso from Italian club Atalanta, with a contract extending until the summer of 2028.
The club stated in its official statement: "Atletico Madrid and Atalanta have reached an agreement for the transfer of Argentine goalkeeper Juan Musso, who has signed a contract with our club until 2028. The player has been with us this season on loan."
The statement added: "Musso grew up at Regatas San Nicolás before moving to Racing Club in 2012, where he won the Argentine league title in 2014. He then moved to Europe via Udinese, and then to Atalanta, where he played for three seasons and won the UEFA Europa League title in 2024."
It continued: "Last summer, Musso joined our ranks on loan and participated in 9 matches, including 7 in the Copa del Rey and 2 in La Liga, managing to keep a clean sheet in 6 matches."
The statement also highlighted his international career, saying: "Musso has represented the Argentina national team since 2019 and won the Copa America 2021 and the Finalissima in 2022 with the team."
