Jonathan Tah and Tom Bischof Join Bayern Munich for the Club World Cup

Bayern Munich has officially announced the signing of international defender Jonathan Tah, coming from Bayer Leverkusen, as part of its preparations for the 2025 Club World Cup.

Bayern Munich will be in Group C of the tournament, alongside Portuguese club Benfica, Argentine club Boca Juniors, and New Zealand's Auckland City, where they will begin their journey against the latter on June 15.

The Bavarian club confirmed through its official website that it will rely on the new duo, Jonathan Tah and Tom Bischof, during the Club World Cup competitions, after reaching agreements with Bayer Leverkusen and Hoffenheim to officially activate their contracts.

For his part, Max Eberl, Bayern Munich's sports director, expressed his happiness at completing the signings, saying: "We are pleased to reach an agreement with Leverkusen and Hoffenheim, and the addition of Jonathan Tah and Tom to our team will provide an important boost in the Club World Cup, and we are very excited about this new tournament in the United States."

The Bayern Munich delegation will depart for the United States on Tuesday morning, heading to Orange County, Florida, to begin final preparations for the tournament's kickoff on June 14.
