Manchester City Announces Departure of Goalkeeper Scott Carson
Scott Carson, 39 years old, joined Manchester City in 2019 from Derby County, and his career with the team spanned 6 seasons.
During that time, the English goalkeeper participated in only two matches, the first against Newcastle in 2021, and the second against Sporting Lisbon in the second leg of the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League 2021/2022 season, and he succeeded in winning 12 titles with the team.
The end of Carson's contract at the end of June means he will depart during the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, in which Manchester City will participate, to be held in the United States from June 14 to July 13.
