
Alonso Leads First Training Session at Real Madrid
Real Madrid held its first training session today, Monday, under the leadership of coach Xabi Alonso, in preparation for the FIFA Club World Cup this month.
The royal club confirmed on its official website that the team began preparations for the Club World Cup today, except for the players who are with their national teams.
Lucas Vazquez, Fran Garcia, Ceballos, Rodrygo, and Asensio trained normally with the team, while Carvajal, Ibrahim, Militao, Alaba, Courtois, and Valverde participated in part of the training.
Ferland Mendy, Rudiger, Endrick, and Camavinga were absent from training due to injury.
The training session featured many young players including Sergio Mistry, Fran Gonzalez, Chima, Youssef Lakhdeem, Gonzalo, Jacob, Victor Munoz, Fortia, Diego Aguado, and Mario Martin.
