Vinicius Decides on Contract Extension with Real Madrid

Brazilian star Vinicius Junior has agreed to extend his contract with Real Madrid until the summer of 2030, with a gradual increase in his annual salary, according to the Spanish newspaper 'AS'.

Vinicius, who is 24 years old, joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2018 from Brazilian Flamengo for 45 million euros, and previously renewed his contract in 2023 until 2027.

According to the report, the player will currently earn 15 million euros annually, but the new contract will see a gradual increase in his salary to reach 20 million euros per season, along with additional incentives tied to his performance, including bonuses for winning individual awards such as the Ballon d'Or or The Best, or scoring a certain number of goals.

The contracts are expected to be signed officially after the conclusion of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

It is worth mentioning that Vinicius participated in 52 matches with Real Madrid last season across all competitions, scoring 21 goals and providing 18 assists.
