Ronaldo appeared in statements to the media after winning the UEFA Nations League against Spain on penalties, following a 2-2 draw.
Ronaldo said in his remarks: "Your future? Nothing will change, Al Nassr? Yes," in a clear indication of his continuation with Al Nassr.
For his part, media personality Abdulaziz Al-Muraisel stated: "Al Nassr has agreed with its captain Cristiano Ronaldo to extend the contract for two years."
He added: "The announcement of Ronaldo's contract renewal will be this week, God willing, and efforts are being made to make it tomorrow."
