The Union Club will start its preparations for the upcoming sports season on July 14, through a training camp to be held in the city of Girona, Spain, lasting for ten days according to informed press reports.
After the Spanish camp, the team will head to Portugal for the second phase of its preparations, which includes three friendly matches against prestigious European clubs as part of an intensive preparation plan.
The Union is preparing for a series of strong competitions, starting with the Saudi Super Cup on August 19, alongside its participation in the Asian Elite League, the Roshan Professional League, and the King’s Cup.
The preparation program will conclude in China, where the team will play two additional friendly matches, as part of enhancing technical and physical readiness before the official competitions of the new season begin.
The administrative body is still waiting for the official announcement regarding the venue of the Super Cup, amidst indications that the tournament may be held in China, and a Union delegation is heading there to follow up on the arrangements, in addition to the camps in Spain and Portugal.
