Alisson Becker, the goalkeeper of Liverpool FC and the Brazilian national team, revealed his stance on continuing with the Reds in the upcoming period, as well as discussing the possibility of returning to the Brazilian league to represent his former team Internacional.

Alisson's contract with Liverpool expires in the summer of 2026, with a clause allowing the club to extend it for an additional season.

During the press conference for the Brazil national team match against Peru, Alisson stated: "I have never been able to plan for the long term; it is clear now that I have one year left on my contract with Liverpool, and another year from the club's option, which they are likely to activate."

He added, "This period is a critical moment in my career, with the World Cup approaching, I want to be at my peak focus, and I don't want anything external to hinder me from that."

Regarding the possibility of returning to the Brazilian league, Alisson explained: "I talk to athletes who have taken this step to return; some have had good experiences, while others have not."

He concluded his remarks by saying: "Each of them has their own experience, but I want to return, especially to Internacional. I don't know when that will happen, but I still want to perform at a high level; that is what I have planned."
