Special Rehabilitation Program for Al-Akhdir Stars Before the Crucial Australia Match
Sunday 08-06-2025
The players Mohannad Al-Saad, the winger of the Saudi national team, and his teammate Mohannad Al-Shanqeeti, the right-back, began their physical rehabilitation phase on Friday, in preparation for their return to the field after suffering injuries.

The medical staff aims through this program to intensively rehabilitate the duo to catch up with the anticipated match against the Australian national team, scheduled for next Tuesday as part of the final round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

Despite the Saudi national team resuming its training in Jeddah immediately after returning from Bahrain, Al-Saad and Al-Shanqeeti continued to miss group training sessions due to the treatment program.

The duo had missed the last match of the "Green" against the Bahrain national team, which ended with a 2-0 victory for Saudi Arabia, due to injuries they recently sustained that kept them out of the lineup.

The coaching staff hopes to regain the players' services before the match against Australia, as they represent an important technical addition, especially with the impending conclusion of the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup.
