Harry Kane Talks About Victory and Performance in Qualifiers
Saturday 07-06-2025
The star of the English national team, Harry Kane, appeared in press statements after the victory over Andorra 1-0 in the third round of the European qualifiers for the World Cup.

Kane, England's top scorer, said: "It's a match that many won't remember, and we performed well at times, but we will take the three points and move forward."

He added: "Maybe we weren't good enough with the ball, which gave them some confidence, and then in the last five or ten minutes, we had to stop them."

He continued: "I think Noni Madueke was dangerous today, and we need more from him. We have great players, and we need players who can face others and keep going. He played brilliantly today."

He noted: "Certainly, we need to be better. June is never easy, and we have players joining us after long seasons."

He concluded: "We have a friendly match on Thursday that we can learn from again. The crowd was amazing, and they expressed themselves, and we feel disappointed that we couldn't score more, but we will look forward to the next match."
