The Saudi national team achieved a victory over their Bahraini counterpart with a score of 2-0 in the match held today, Thursday, as part of the ninth round of the third stage of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The first goal for Saudi Arabia was scored by Musab Al-Juwair in the 16th minute, followed by Abdul Rahman Al-Aboud adding the second goal in the 78th minute.
With this result, Saudi Arabia's points rise to 13, placing them third in their group standings, while Bahrain remains at 6 points in fifth place.
This result secures the Saudi team a spot in the playoff for promotion.
