Chelsea FC announced in an official statement via its website that they have given Cole Palmer, the star of the team, a new number ahead of the new season.
The English club confirmed that Palmer will wear the number "10" starting from the next season, noting that his previous number was "20".
The club also indicated that the new young striker Liam Delap will wear the number 9 with the London team.
It is worth mentioning that Palmer played 46 matches this season, scoring 15 goals and providing 12 assists, while Chelsea signed Delap from Ipswich Town in the first deal of the Blues.
