Thursday 05-06-2025
It seems that the German goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen can no longer bear the increasing pressures surrounding his future with FC Barcelona, amid growing media speculation and discussions on social media about the possibility of his departure during the summer transfer window.

Despite his repeated confirmation of his desire to continue within the walls of the Catalan club, Ter Stegen feels a state of anger and extreme discomfort due to the numerous questions about his future, prompting him to consider holding a meeting with Barcelona management to clarify matters and put the dots on the i's.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Sport," the German international goalkeeper will decide to leave Barcelona if it becomes clear to him during the meeting that he will not be the first-choice goalkeeper under coach Hans Flick next season. The newspaper indicated that Ter Stegen will not make it easy for the club's management if he is forced to leave.

Those close to the goalkeeper believe that there is a campaign against him from within the club, especially with the increasing talk about his exclusion from Flick's plans, the renewal of Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny's contract for an additional season, in addition to reports suggesting an agreement with Juan García, the Espanyol goalkeeper.
