Ahmed Hassan said on Facebook: "A source from Zamalek: The management is preparing a position for Mohamed Abdel-Shafy after retirement and organizing a tribute ceremony for him."
Ahmed Hassan had previously revealed a high probability of Abdel-Shafy's retirement soon, stating on Facebook: "It is highly likely that Mohamed Abdel-Shafy will announce his retirement after the match against Pyramids in the Egypt Cup final."
The Egypt Cup final match will take place tomorrow, Thursday, between Zamalek and Pyramids, starting at 8:30 PM Cairo and Mecca time.
