Malian star Aliou Diyang, who is on loan at Saudi club Al-Khulood, is still keen on participating with the Red team in the Club World Cup this month in the United States.

According to press sources, Al-Ahly has not yet received approval from Al-Khulood regarding the termination of the loan for Malian Aliou Diyang, in preparation for his local registration and inclusion in the squad for the Club World Cup in mid this month.

The sources indicated that Diyang offered to the management of Al-Khulood to waive his salary for the current month of June and some other bonuses, in order to facilitate his return to Al-Ahly to participate in the global tournament.

Reports emphasized that Al-Ahly's management expects to finalize Diyang's situation in the coming hours, especially after the player himself intervened in the negotiations.
