Al-Qadisiyah Searches for Defender to Strengthen Defense Line
Tuesday 03-06-2025
Al-Qadisiyah Club has started serious steps to strengthen its back line, opening the file for signing a new local defender during the ongoing summer transfer period to enhance its defensive options.

Recently, the name of defender Ali Lajami topped Al-Qadisiyah's list of interests, but his official transfer to Al-Hilal has definitively ended this option.

After the Lajami deal faltered, Al-Qadisiyah's management turned its attention to other options, primarily Saad Al-Mousa, a defender from Al-Ittihad, who is still tied to a contract for two more seasons.

Sources close to the coaching staff confirmed that Al-Mousa is the second preferred option in case the first deal fails, due to his experience in the league and his defensive value.

The management is also closely monitoring the situation of Nader Al-Sharari, a player from Al-Shabab, whose contract is expiring soon, in addition to Aoun Al-Sulouli from Al-Taawun, awaiting developments in the negotiations.
