
Bayern Munich Seeks to Include Tah in Club World Cup
Bayern Munich recently announced the signing of Tah on a free transfer from Leverkusen; however, the club cannot register him to participate in the Club World Cup, as his contract with Leverkusen extends until June 30.
Journalist Florian Plettenberg stated: "There is no agreement yet between Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen regarding Jonathan Tah's participation in the Club World Cup."
He added: "Leverkusen initially requested an amount of up to 7 million euros to terminate Tah's contract, which Bayern refuses to pay."
He concluded: "Bayern Munich has doubts about the possibility of reaching an agreement with Leverkusen - but they are very eager for the player to be present in the Club World Cup."
