Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, of Saudi club Al-Hilal, has become a prominent target for several English clubs during the summer transfer window, amid the possibility of his departure from the team.

According to what was revealed by "talkSPORT", Manchester United tops the list of clubs interested in signing Mitrovic, alongside West Ham United and Everton, as the trio seeks to bolster their attack, with Al-Hilal prepared to sell or loan the player for £40 million.

Al-Hilal is considering parting ways with Mitrovic following the signing of Nigerian Victor Osimhen, the Napoli striker, as part of their preparations for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

The report indicated that Al-Hilal's management will not relinquish Mitrovic's services before securing a replacement, to avoid any offensive shortage before the anticipated tournament, especially since the player has shown flexibility regarding reducing his salary to facilitate a return to the Premier League.

Despite Mitrovic's name previously being linked with his old team Fulham, the source ruled out a return to his former club, confirming that the competition is currently limited to Manchester United, West Ham United, and Everton.

Since his transfer to Al-Hilal in the summer of 2023 from Fulham for £50 million, Mitrovic has scored 68 goals in 79 matches across various competitions, confirming his high scoring value within the Saudi team.
