French midfielder Adrien Rabiot, currently at Marseille and former Juventus player, hinted at the possibility of moving to Milan in the upcoming period following the appointment of Massimiliano Allegri as the new coach of the Rossoneri.

Milan had announced Allegri's return to coach the team with a contract extending for two years with an option for an additional year, after 11 years since his departure from the club.

Rabiot, who played under Allegri for three seasons during his five-year stint at Juventus, left Turin in the summer of 2024 shortly after the Italian coach was dismissed.

The French player had an outstanding season with Olympique Marseille under Roberto De Zerbi, contributing to 10 goals and providing 6 assists in 31 matches across all competitions.

In his statements, Rabiot revealed the strong relationship he shares with Allegri, saying: "My teammates compare my relationship with Allegri to that of a father and son; I talk to him a lot, and I respect him greatly as a person with a winning mentality."

When asked about the possibility of playing under Allegri again at Milan, Rabiot said: "My choice for Marseille was not guaranteed despite their absence from the Champions League, and now after qualifying, playing in this stadium amidst this atmosphere would be wonderful."

He concluded by saying: "If Allegri calls me, I will always be available to talk to him."
