The Pyramids team has won the CAF Champions League title for the first time in its history after overcoming South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns with a score of 3-2 on aggregate over the two-legged final match.

The first leg ended in a 1-1 draw, while today's second leg finished with a score of 2-1 in favor of Pyramids.

Pyramids' first goal in the match was scored by Viston Maiele in the 24th minute, followed by Ahmed Sami adding the second goal for Pyramids in the 56th minute, and in the 75th minute, Ikram Rainers scored for Sundowns.

Pyramids advanced to the CAF Champions League final after defeating Orlando Pirates with a score of 3-2 on aggregate over the two-legged semi-final.

Meanwhile, Sundowns reached the final after drawing 1-1 in the second leg of the semi-final against Al Ahly, with the first leg ending in a goalless draw (0-0).
