Al Ain Club continues to strengthen its roster with strong signings in preparation for its anticipated participation in the 2025 Club World Cup, set to take place in the United States.

The club announced the signing of 5 new players to bolster the team as part of its preparations for the World Cup.

The club confirmed through its official account on the 'X' platform that it has signed Slovenian defender Marcel Ratnik on a four-year contract, along with Moroccan defender Yahya Ben Khalik from Fath Rabat for the same duration.

The team also strengthened its attack by signing Moroccan striker Al-Hussein Rahimi from Raja Casablanca on a contract that extends until 2029, while it announced on Saturday the signing of veteran Portuguese goalkeeper Rui Patricio, who will undergo medical examinations in preparation for joining the training sessions.

In another deal, the leader announced the signing of Bosnian player Edis Jasic.

On another note, Al Ain renewed the contracts of players Mohammed Awad Allah until 2028, and Mohammed Abbas until 2029, while the club announced the end of the loan for duo Felipe Salomoni and Gino Infantino, who will leave the team.
