Juventus' chances of signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen during the summer transfer window have diminished following the imminent departure of sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, as revealed by 'Football Italia'.

Osimhen was strongly tipped to leave Napoli this summer after an impressive season on loan at Galatasaray. The player has a release clause in his contract worth €75 million, applicable only to clubs outside the Italian league.

Although Juventus has the ability to activate the release clause, the club had planned to make an official offer to Napoli in July, especially since Giuntoli, who previously brought Osimhen to the Italian league when he was at Napoli, is leading the sporting project in Turin.

However, with Giuntoli's departure on the horizon, it is no longer expected that Juventus will continue its attempts to sign the Nigerian striker this summer, prompting the player to reconsider his options, including an enticing offer from Saudi club Al-Hilal.
