Officially.. Manchester United announces the signing of Cunha
Manchester United Football Club announced in an official statement today, Sunday, that it has signed Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Matheus Cunha for £62.5 million.
The English club stated: "Manchester United has reached an agreement with Wolverhampton Wanderers regarding the signing of Matheus Cunha."
It added: "The player's joining Manchester United is subject to visa and registration conditions."
It continued: "The 26-year-old player has 13 international caps with the Brazilian national team, and throughout his club career, he has participated in 270 matches and scored 72 goals."
It further stated: "During the two and a half seasons he spent with Wolverhampton, Cunha scored 33 goals in 92 matches."
It concluded: "Everyone at Manchester United looks forward to welcoming Matheus at Old Trafford."
