Mbappe Congratulates Paris Saint-Germain After Winning the Champions League
Despite leaving Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2024, Kylian Mbappe, the current star of Real Madrid, took the time to congratulate his former team after their historic victory over Inter Milan with a score of 5-0 in the Champions League final on Saturday night.
Mbappe wrote on his Instagram account just minutes after the match ended: "The awaited day has come, a victory for the entire club, congratulations PSG."
Mbappe had left the Parisian club after seven years spent with them, without managing to win the Champions League title in their jersey, before the dream was realized for the club after his departure.
It is worth noting that Mbappe is still in a legal and financial dispute with Paris Saint-Germain, which has so far refused to pay significant financial dues related to the end of his contract.
