The Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi continues to make history in the UEFA Champions League, as he became the first defender to directly contribute to more than 20 goals in the tournament since his debut in 2017.
Hakimi scored the first goal for his team Paris Saint-Germain in the 12th minute of the match against Inter Milan, currently taking place at the Allianz Arena in Munich, in the Champions League final.
Deziri Doi added the second goal in the 20th minute, giving the Parisian team a 2-0 lead in the first half, which is still being played.
With this goal, Hakimi raised his tally to 21 goal contributions in the Champions League, surpassing both Joao Cancelo, who has 16 contributions, and Alex Grimaldo, who has 14 contributions. He has also scored this season in the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final.
