Reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that FC Barcelona is very close to finalizing the deal for Espanyol goalkeeper Juan Garcia.
Romano stated: "Barcelona's agreement with Juan Garcia regarding a long-term contract has reached a very advanced stage and is on the verge of completion."
He added: "Negotiations are ongoing with the Spanish goalkeeper, and the club is confident of getting the player's approval in the coming days."
He concluded: "Barcelona aims to complete the deal as soon as possible, while Premier League clubs are closely monitoring the goalkeeper's decision."
It is worth noting that the young goalkeeper has a release clause in his contract worth only 25 million euros.
