Barcelona does not plan to sign a new striker next summer.
The sporting director of FC Barcelona, Deco, confirmed that the Catalan club is not planning to sign a new forward during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Deco stated regarding the possibility of signing Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting: "Gyökeres is a great striker who has done excellent things with Sporting, but we are not looking to strengthen this position right now."
He added: "We have Lewandowski in the number 9 position."
The Catalan club is planning to sign a left winger this summer, amid interest in signing Rashford, or Luis Diaz, or Gabriel Martinelli, or Rafael Leão, or Kingsley Coman.
