New Decision from Al Ahly Regarding Imam Ashour
Ahmed Hassan, the former Zamalek star, revealed an anticipated decision from the Al Ahly management regarding Imam Ashour, the team's star.
Ahmed Hassan said on "dmc" channel: "Al Ahly is introducing a new category for player contracts, and we can say this innovation is due to Imam Ashour."
He added: "Imam Ashour will join the pre-first category, which has different advantages, and I believe it includes only 4 players in the team: Ahmed Mostafa Zizo after being announced, Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, the new arrival, and Mohamed El Shenawy, the team captain."
He continued: "The decision from Al Ahly came after some Gulf clubs started to gauge interest in Imam Ashour with some agents in order to sign the player."
He clarified: "Al Ahly's response was decisive, that Imam Ashour is not for sale and the player will continue with Al Ahly, with the direction to extend Imam's contract for an additional 3 years, making it 5 years remaining on his contract."
Ahmed Hassan concluded: "Imam Ashour will enter the first category, and the figures reach 80, 90, and 100 million pounds."
