Egyptian international Omar Marmoush, a player for Manchester City, won the Goal of the Season award in the English Premier League after his remarkable performance since joining the team last January from Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany.

Marmoush was awarded the prize for his stunning goal against Bournemouth during the match held at the Etihad Stadium in the 37th round of the league, where he unleashed a powerful shot from 30 yards in the 14th minute, leading Manchester City to a 3-1 victory.

The amazing goal received the highest percentage of votes from fans and a panel of football experts, surpassing several other notable goals scored by players such as Cole Palmer, Alexander Isak, Nicolas Jackson, and Kaoru Mitoma.

Thus, Marmoush becomes the first player from Manchester City to win this award and the second Egyptian player to achieve it after Mohamed Salah, who won it in the 2021/2022 season with his famous goal against City.
