Luwai Mushabi Opens the Door on His Continuation as President of the Union
After Al-Ittihad was crowned the King’s Cup champion at the expense of Al-Qadisiyah, Luwai Mushabi, the president of Al-Ittihad Club, commented on his future presidency of the club for the upcoming season, confirming that the decision will be clear soon.
Mushabi clarified that his position on continuing is still under consideration, indicating that the coming days will reveal definitively whether he will continue his duties at the helm of the club or not.
He pointed out that many meetings were held this season within the administrative corridors, some of which witnessed differences in opinions and voting results, but all discussions remained within the walls and were not leaked.
He confirmed that administrative intervention was limited only to financial aspects, while the sports management was fully empowered to make technical decisions related to the first team.
Mushabi expressed his happiness at achieving the double title, praising the team leaders such as Danilo, Kante, Fabinho, and Benzema, who contributed to instilling a spirit of discipline and calmness in the dressing room.
He also noted that the commitment of the players began during the preparatory camp, where they agreed to approach every match with high concentration from the starting whistle until the last minute.
