The Egyptian star Mahmoud Trezeguet sent an emotional message to Al Rayyan Club in Qatar before joining Al Ahly.
Trezeguet said via Instagram: "I extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to Al Rayyan Club for all the support and love you have showered me with during the past period. It has been a great honor for me to be a part of this prestigious team. Thank you, the noble people of Qatar, for your wonderful hospitality."
Trezeguet is preparing to join Al Ahly after completing his journey with Al Rayyan.
Al Ahly is set to compete in the 2025 Club World Cup in June next year in the United States.
